This is the clutch-mate to the other Solomon Island Eclectus. It will either be bright green with red under the wings and bright blue on the wings, and a candy corn orange beak, or it will be a vivid red and violet with a black beak.
For these babies we do not need to do DNA, we can tell by what color pops out on their tiny feathers in a few weeks…. stay tuned!
