Eleanora (Medium Sulfur Crested) Cockatoo

This is Biggie Smalls. He is an adult male Eleanora Cockatoo and although he has been a friendly pet to me and other women, he does not seem to like men much. I acquired him to be a breeder, but I think he should stay a pet. He’s about 20 years old, eats well, talks when he chooses, and will pluck his chest on and off.

When he first came to us, I was told that he plucked, but he didn’t for a good 3 to 4 weeks, and then one morning, he pulled a good 15 feathers off his chest and he hasn’t done it for another 2 months now… so I really don’t know why, or how long he’s done this!
