This baby comes from Central American Scarlet parentage, which means it will have the beautiful wide yellow band on the wings. The two clutch mates will wean approximately the end of June/beginning of July time frame. DNA will be tested in about 4 weeks, once we have enough feathers to pull a couple!
DNA has been sent out. Babies are getting big, and have been moved from the brooder to a large tub on a heating pad. They are starting to be interested in various toys in the tub now too.
