The Illiger Mini Macaw is relatively rare bird still, rather high up on the endangered list. Each year, a few more are sold to the public, and more and more people are finding out what wonderful pets these small macaws make!
The baby will not be as colorful as the adult bird, but within 2 years, it should look like the second photo in this group.
