Catalina Leo

This little dino, will be big and colorful in no time at all… about 18 weeks, give or take a week!

This baby has a beautiful colorful patch on the top of his head, with yellow edged tail feathers!

For these Catalina chicks, the Mama is the Scarlet, and the Father is the Blue & Gold. She was a pet, and she talks and sings with me when I feed her. The father is very protective, and as far as I know, was never a pet. They are both gorgeous birds. She has the very wide band of yellow, found on the Central American Scarlets, while the Blue and Gold has extra yellow feathers on both his shoulders where there normally are only blue feathers.
